My projects typically start at 300 GB for single cam work. Lastly, editing professionally takes up a lot of drive space. Then the project can be transferred to a computer to continue. I get Luna Fusion as a starting point for cut / paste / transition, and I may even appreciate light versions of FCP or Adobe Premiere but only to get a field cut. Additionally, doing color correction, which is what Resolve is the standard for, requires a large color reference monitor. Yes, they are ways of doing it, but a shuttle, mouse and keyboard is much, much faster.
